Canadians Want Dion Doctrine Debate

This does not surprise me at all. 70% of Canadians want to hear from their leaders - outside of the two-ring-circus of question period.

If you're a Harper supporter, and you think Dion is a wimp (which recently he's proven is a total falsehood, again), then you want to see the Prime Minister of all of Canada destroy this lefty and his Permanent Tax on Everything. You want to see Harper Stand up for Canada. I heard that somewhere before.

And if you're a Dion supporter, you want to see your boy in action with the plan we've all waited so long to see. The "three pillars approach" just started to make a whole lot more sense, and it's an exciting time to talk about Liberal ideas.

And those 30% that don't want the debate? Maybe they'd feel more excited about it if Gilles Duceppe and Thomas Mulcair had positions on the environment as well.

Of course, the debate won't happen. Harper is a moron if he accepts. Harper is the five priorities guy, and the environment has never been one of them. He'll say nothing and hope this story goes away; however, that will be the end of the tough-guy v. wimp narrative - because Dion wants this fight.
